PERUMIN 36 expects the participation of 500 student leaders
  • Companies exhibiting at EXTEMIN will be able to request the support of students, until Friday, September 22.

"Student Leaders" is the youth volunteer program that is being developed as part of PERUMIN 36. This program allows technical and university students to get to know the mining industry and its most recent technological advances up close while providing support to the public at the Mining Technology Exhibition - EXTEMIN.

The organizers of PERUMIN informed that this edition expects the participation of approximately 500 student leaders. They also indicated that until Friday, September 22, the companies exhibiting at EXTEMIN will be able to request the support of students.

"The Student Leaders program has brought together the best students in the country, through a call coordinated with universities, institutes and student associations nationwide. We have about 500 young people who have an intermediate level of English, are proactive and have the ability to interact with the public," explained Diana Rake, president of Student Leaders.

These young individuals come from various fields of study, not limited to those traditionally associated with mining. They will receive specialized training for their roles during the event, including sessions on customer service and first aid.

In addition to the experience of being part of PERUMIN 36 and interacting with outstanding personalities of the national and international mining sector, the student leaders will have a program of conferences exclusively for them and, at the end of the activities, they will receive a certificate for their participation, so they are very enthusiastic about participating.

"I invite all the companies that have stands in EXTEMIN to continue requesting the support of the young men and women in this program, as there is great expectation for those who have not yet been selected. This brings a series of benefits to the exhibiting companies, one of them is that it adds additional credits in the contest for the best stand," added Rake.
