Energía Peruana Will Develop 20 MW in Synchronism Solutions for Two Large Mining Companies in Peru
  • The company will also provide a total of 5.2 MW of power to PERUMIN 36.

Federico Tarazona, general manager of Energía Peruana, a supplier of comprehensive energy solutions for various sectors, has announced that this company is working on the first phase of a project to develop synchronism solutions totaling 20 MW for two important mining companies in Peru.

“The challenge is to offer 100% reliable energy supply. To that end, we have been collaborating with these companies in the design of sound solutions that minimize any risks and ensure continuous operation,” said the executive during an interview with the Peruvian Institute of Mining Engineers.

Furthermore, he announced that Energía Peruana is planning to double its client base requiring temporary 10-MW energy solutions. They will also expand their sales department, with individual sales of generators, air compressors, and lighting towers. He says the company is fully prepared for this.

“The sector is very dynamic, and opportunities are always emerging as new or already established mining projects constantly looking for efficiency and higher standards. The key is the team’s professionalism and the trust in our engineers and technicians in the supplied areas,” he pointed out.

As proof of their commitment to the development of the Peruvian mining industry, Fernando Tarazona announced that Energía Peruana will participate in PERUMIN for the fourth consecutive year, guaranteeing power supply at 100%. This will allow this crucial event to accomplish its goal of fostering mining in the country.

“We have prioritized the implementation of our electric generators as the main power source for the spaces and essential activities at the convention. We are providing 25 power units, strategically distributed in different areas of the event, for a total of 5.2 MW.

He also explained that a comprehensive energy solution includes designing a strategy for coverage; preparing, transporting, installing, maintaining, and operating the equipment; as well as providing technical support. The aim is to guarantee the smooth development of the event, even if there are interruptions in the power supply from the grid.

“The secret of our service is meticulous planning and a swift response to emergency requirements. Preparing in advance enables us to offer a robust and reliable service. That is why we brought all our equipment to PERUMIN more than three weeks before the event,” Fernando Tarazona.
