Violeta Bermúdez Valdivia
Director of the Prevenir Project, USAID
She has a master's degree in Constitutional Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and is a lawyer from San Marcos University. She is a professor at the law schools of the Universidad Pacífico and the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru.
She has held various public positions, including president of the Council of Ministers during the transitional government led by Francisco Sagasti.
Currently, she is the executive director of USAID's Prevent Project, which works for the conservation of the Peruvian Amazon by preventing and reducing environmental crimes.
