Jorge Gómez

Mining Civil Engineer with more than 25 years of experience in the mining industry.

From December 2012 to date, he has served as Chief Executive Officer at Collahuasi. Previously, he worked as Vicepresident of Operations at Codelco South Central Operations, in charge of the Andina, El Teniente, Ventanas and Salvador divisions, for almost 2 years.  He also held the positions of Vicepresident of Operations at Antofagasta Minerals for 5 years, and General Manager of Minera Los Pelambres.

He has been a Board Member of Sociedad Nacional de Minería (Sonami) since 2016 and Chairman of the Board of Consejo Minero since July 2017.

He has received several recognitions for its work in the Mining Industry, among which the Latin American award for contribution to safety at work “ALASEHT 2017” stands out.

Finally, he attended the “CEO's Management Program" at Kellogg's business school.
