Waldo Mendoza

Professor and researcher in the Department of Economics of the PUCP, vice president of the Board of Directors of the National Superintendence of Higher University Education (SUNEDU) and member of the Board of Directors of the Fiscal Council (CF).

He has been Minister of Economy and Finance, President of the Fiscal Council, member of the board of the Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCRP, January 2015-July 2016) and Deputy Minister of Finance (2005-2006) at the MEF.

He has several publications. The last ones are The fiscal history of Peru: 1980-2020. Collapse, Stabilization, Consolidation, and the Coup of COVID-19 (2021, with Yuliño Anastacio) and Intermediate Macroeconomics for Latin America (third edition, 2018).
