Víctor Gobitz

Chair and general manager of Antamina. He is a mining engineer graduated from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from ESAN Graduate School of Business. He has also pursued specialization studies at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and the Kellogg School of Management. With over 30 years of experience in mining operation and project management. He has vast experience as the general manager of prestigious companies in the sector, such as Compañía de Minas Buenaventura, Compañía Minera Milpo, and Río Alto Mining. At present, he is a director at Gerens Business School and is the former chair of the Peruvian Institute of Mining Engineers.
