Ruben Fernandes

Appointed CEO of Anglo American Base Metals on March 2019. Previously served as CEO of Anglo American Brazil, joining the Group in 2012. 

He was head of mining at Votorantim Metals in Brazil, and operations in Peru and Colombia, COO at Vale Fertilizers and Kaolin Companies.

Between 1988 and 1998, held several leadership roles in special alloys industry.
