Lino Abram
Senior Partner, McKinsey & Co.
Lino Abram is a Senior Partner in McKinsey & Company. He joined the Firm in August of 1999 in Caracas and since then has served extensively leading a diverse set of clients, with a focus in Financial Institutions, Consumer Goods, Basic Materials and Private Equity Companies in Peru, Colombia, Chile, Venezuela, Argentina, Mexico and the Caribbean. He founded and led McKinsey’s Lima Office for over 10 years.
Currently he leads the Financial Institutions Practice for Chile, Colombia, Peru and Argentina. He is also responsible for all people related functions in his complex.
In his 23 years in McKinsey he has had the opportunity to lead deep performance improvement turnarounds, including major digital and cultural transformations. He is counsellor to his key clients.
Before joining McKinsey & Co. in 1999, Lino worked with Cementos Lima, the major cement producer in Peru, both as Assistant of the CFO and as Supervisor of Production. During his job as Assistant of the CFO he led the Treasury Department. He additionally did a summer internship in 1998 with Procter & Gamble in the finance department.
Lino holds and M.B.A. (with honors in finance) from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) and an Industrial Engineering Degree (with honors) from Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru. Lino and his wife Carla have three children
