Juan Carlos Ortiz

Mining Engineer from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Peru with 30 years of experience in the mining industry in different operational and managing roles. Currently serving as Vice-President of Operations at Cia de Minas Buenaventura and before that as Gerente Central de Operaciones for Volcan Compañia Minera, Chief Operating Offices for Cia Minera Milpo SAA (now NEXA), General Manager for Catalina Huanca Sociedad Minera SAC, Operations Manager for Cia Minera Condestable SAA and Operations Manager for Cia Minera San Ignacio de Morococha SAA. 

Currently board member for Sociedad Minera El Brocal and for Silver Mountain Resources Inc. Director for the Peruvian Institute Mining Engineers (IIMP) since year 2014.
