Gonzalo Tamayo

Mr. Tamayo is a Bachelor and Bachelor of Economics from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and a Master of Arts in Economics, Doctoral Studies, at the University of California, Los Angeles, USA.
Specialist in economic and financial analysis and infrastructure markets.
He has been Minister of Energy and Mines and has participated in the boards of various institutions, including Cofide, OSIPTEL, Electroperú and the Consolidated Reserve Fund.
During more than 20 years of experience, he has led and participated in various economic studies in electricity, hydrocarbons, transportation, logistics, development of capital markets, among others for government agencies, international institutions and private clients.
He has also been a professor at the Universidad del Pacífico, the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and the Graduate School of the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC).
He publishes academic research papers, participates as a speaker in seminars and collaborates as a columnist in various Peruvian media.
