Francisca Rivero
General Manager of SMI - UQ Chile
Current General Manager of SMI-ICE (Sustainable Minerals Institute International Centre of Excellence) in Chile. She is a Social Worker from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and has a Master's degree in Applied Sciences in Habitat and Development from the Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium. She has been a consultant for international cooperation agencies such as the World Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, United Nations Development Program, among others. During the last 10 years she has specialized in sustainable development issues, public-private social dialogue on energy, access to water and climate change in Chile and Latin America.
