Mechanical Electrical Engineer, graduated from the National University of Engineering. Master in Regulation of Public Services from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
He has more than 35 years of experience in the electricity sector, having held management positions and a member of the board of directors of electricity generation, transmission and distribution companies. Advisor to the Vice Minister of Energy in the Ministry of Energy and Mines.
From 2008 to date he has held the position of chairman of the board of COES, which is the body created by law to take charge of the operation at minimum cost of the National Interconnected Electric System and the Planning of the Expansion of Transmission, as well as the administration of the Short-Term Wholesale Market.
