Carolina Trivelli, currently is Senior Researcher at Instituto de Estudios Peruanos. Ms. Trivelli is an Economist and holds a MSc in Agricultural Economics from The Pennsylvania State University. She was Minister of Development and Social Inclusion of Peru (2011-2013), has worked as Managing Director of Pagos Digitales Peruanos (2014-2016), as Strategic Analysis Senior Advisor for the Latin American and the Caribbean FAO Regional Office (2021-2022), as consultant for several international organizations, and as Researcher and Director General of the Instituto de Estudios Peruanos (1991-2011).
She serves as a Board member of Busara Center for Behavioral Economics and REDES a Peruvian Think Tank. She is a member of the High Level Panel of the ID4D Initiative (World Bank) and of the Advisory committee of the Partnership for Economic Inclusion (PEI) (at the World Bank) and of Videnza. She serves as board member for RSanima and IPAE. She is also a member of the Technical Advisory Committee on Measuring Poverty (INEI) and a columnist for El Comercio.
