Mine General Manager at Sociedad Minera Cerro Verde, after working as Mine Operations Superintendent at the same company. He served as Mine and Technical Services Manager at Minera Candelaria, in Chile; and as Mine Engineering and Resources Manager at Mina Morenci, in the United States.
He began his career as an intern at Southern Peru Copper Corporation, where he worked for 7 years in different responsibility roles. He graduated in Mining Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería.
