Steven Lewis - MINING SUMMIT (ENG)

Steven Lewis is a project development manager at First Quantum Minerals with over 20 years of experience in various roles across the mining value chain, including exploration, resource development, macroeconomic supply analysis and forecasting, operational improvement, and project feasibility and development. He is currently focused on the development of the La Granja project in northern Peru in partnership with Rio Tinto. Prior to that, he was Commercial Manager of First Quantum's Cobre Panama mine from the initial construction phase of the project through to commercial production. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Geology from Rhodes University, a Master's degree in Economic Geology from the University of Tasmania, and an MBA from Imperial College.
