Roque Benavides - MINING SUMMIT (ENG)

He has been the chair of board of directors of Compañía de Minas Buenaventura since 2011, a company where he has been working since 1977. He has been appointed dean of the Lima Department Council of the Professional Association of Peruvian Engineers for the 2022-2024 period. He earned a degree in civil engineering from PUCP and a Master of Business Administration from Henley, University of Reading, the United Kingdom. He completed the Management Development Program at Harvard Business School, in the United States, and the Advanced Management Program at Templeton College, University of Oxford, the United Kingdom. He teaches mining business management at PUCP and management strategy at the Master of Mining Management program of UNI. He actively participates in the national and international academic circles.
