Roderick Eggert

Roderick is a research professor in the Department of Economics and Business at Colorado School of Mines and deputy director of the Critical Materials Innovation Hub, a research consortium led by the US Department of Energy's Ames National Laboratory.

He is a member of the International Energy Agency's Critical Minerals Expert Group, the Advisory Board of the Rare Earth Industry Association, and the International Round Table on Materials Criticality. His work focuses on mining economics and public policy.

He has advised legislative bodies in the US, Canada, and Europe. He holds a PhD in Mineral Economics from Penn State, where he also earned his master's degree in geochemistry and mineralogy.
