Martin Walter

Extractive sector specialist with over 20 years of experience in natural resource governance and 12 years at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). He has led projects in mining, hydrocarbons, and geothermal energy, with a strong focus on sustainability, transparency, and inclusive development. He holds PhDs from Sciences Po and Northwestern University, and has published widely on public policy, energy transition, intercultural dialogue, and clean mining technologies.
