Dale Webb -MINING SUMMIT

Dale Webb is responsible for Teck’s Latin America business unit, which includes Teck operations and assets located in Chile (Quebrada Blanca, Carmen de Andacollo, and NuevaUnión), Peru (Antamina and Zafranal), and Mexico (San Nicolás).

Webb brings 25 years of operational experience in mining and smelting. He was Co-CEO of Nyrstar, where he led a multi-asset company with operations across Europe and Australia. Previously, he worked at Teck beginning in 1998, progressively taking on roles of increasing responsibility that developed his strong expertise in operational excellence, project management, and business leadership.

Dale has in-depth knowledge of Quebrada Blanca, having served as general manager of the operation and general manager of operational readiness for the QB2 project in 2020.

He holds a degree in engineering from McGill University and a Master of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University.
