Miguel Cardozo

Exploration geologist graduated at the National University of Engineering (UNI). He has a Doctoral degree at the University of Heidelberg in Germany. He has 48 years of experience in mineral exploration across the American continent. He has held management positions at Newmont, North Limited and other international mining companies. He led the teams that discovered the Yanacocha gold district (1985) and the Galeno copper-gold porphyry (1994). He has experience in organizing and conducting mining businesses and operations of different types and various levels of development and complexity. He is currently President and CEO of Alturas Minerals Corp, a junior mineral exploration company listed on the TSXV and the Lima Stock Exchange. He is also founder and main partner of the family conglomerate CP Group, which includes Exploandes, Geodrones, Helix Bios Peru, Explosupport and IPC Salud that provide a wide range of services to the mining, construction, energy, medicine and other business sectors.
