Karina Zevallos

Karina Zevallos is an Industrial Engineer who holds a specialization in Management from both the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Illinois and the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah.
She serves as the Co-Chair of the Global Women's Network at Weir (GWWN), a prominent global corporation renowned for providing cutting-edge mining technology and boasting a workforce of over 14,000 employees across 60 countries. Additionally, Karina holds the position of Managing Director at Weir Minerals Peru, where she oversees operations in both Peru and Ecuador. Her journey with the company began in 2005, which also includes a role as an Integration Project Manager in Shanghai, China.
Furthermore, Karina is a member of the Women's Committee in CTI (National Council of Science, Technology, and Technological Innovation - CONCYTEC) since 2021. Additionally, she serves on the Board of Directors of the Peruvian National Society of Mining, Oil, and Energy.
Within WIM PERÚ, Karina's involvement has been significant, having held positions as Director from 2019 to 2021, followed by the role of 1st Vice President from 2021 to 2023. Presently, she holds the prestigious position of President for the period 2023 - 2025.
