Esteban Sandoval

Senior Economic Specialist at the Economic Section of the U.S. Embassy in Lima, Peru handling the different Economic related Portfolios for Peru and serving as a reference expert for the Mission on those issues. Prior to this position, he worked as Scientific Affairs Specialist for the Regional Environmental Hub Office for South America, based at the U.S. Embassy. He has also worked at Peru’s Financial Development Bank COFIDE structuring financial proposals for SMEs (Small and Medium Sized Enterprises) from different sectors of the economy. He holds a BBA in International Finance from the University of Miami; a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science from Boston University; and a postgraduate degree in Administration from Harvard University. He has over twenty years of professional experience in economics, investment, energy, mining, trade, infrastructure, technology, and environmental issues.
