Julia Torreblanca

Graduated as a lawyer from the Universidad Católica Santa María, Arequipa-Peru, she has been working in the mining sector for 25 years. She joined Cerro Verde in 1997 and has held positions of increasing responsibility. In April 2012, she was appointed Vice President of Corporate Affairs, her main responsibility being to ensure the sustainable growth of Cerro Verde and Arequipa. In addition, he is responsible for corporate and government relations, with Arequipa and our stakeholders, legal advice, energy and sustainable development initiatives, having led the obtaining of permits, water and energy, as well as the acceptance of expansions. of Cerro Verde completed in 2007 and 2016.

Representative of Cerro Verde on the Stock Exchange since 1999. Among other positions, she has been a member of the Multisectoral Committee of the Regulated System of the Chili River from 2002 to 2012, member of the OSITRAN Advisory Committee, President of the Legal Committee of the Arequipa Chamber of Commerce, President of Procobre – Peru in two terms.

Currently, she is Secretary of the Board of Directors of Sociedad Minera Cerro Verde, Director of the Cerro Verde Association, in charge of managing the voluntary contribution of this Company. She is Director Secretary of the National Society of Mining, Oil and Energy, President of the Board of Directors of the Foreign Trade Society of Peru ComexPerú, member of the APEC Business Advisory Council - ABAC - Peru; Director of the Board of Directors of the Canada-Peru Chamber of Commerce, Titular Director of the Sustainable Peru Association. She is a member of the Advisory Committee of Water Resources Group 2030. Director of the Board of Directors of the Institute of Mining Engineers of Peru.
