Mechanical engineer from Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería in Peru, with a specialization in Energy. He holds an MBA from ESAN University and has completed postgraduate studies in electric utility management and renewable energy at SwedPower in Sweden. He also earned a diploma in Business Revitalization from AOTS in Japan.
He has held executive positions at prominent companies in the energy and mining sectors. He served as general manager of EGASA in 2001, operations manager at CAHUA in 2006, and energy manager at Volcan Compañía Minera in 2009. In 2015, he founded the consulting firm Sami Energy Consulting SAC.
Since 2020, he has led the Energy Projects Department at Compañía Minera Poderosa, where he promotes the energy transition through renewable energy, storage systems, and electromobility. He is also a professor of renewable energies at ESAN University and an international speaker on topics related to energy and mining.
