Homar Lozano

Homar Lozano is a mining engineer from the National University of San Marcos (Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos – UNMSM). He is currently the General Manager of CIEMAM, a socially driven company whose mission is to revitalize nature by transforming environmental liabilities into assets for local development.
He is a licensed member of the College of Engineers of Peru (CIP), and a member of both the Society for Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration (SME) and the Peruvian Institute of Mining Engineers (IIMP). At the IIMP, he served on the Board of Directors during the 2020–2022 term and was Director of Revista Minería from 2022 to 2024.
He has contributed to various committees, including Talent Quarry, Mining Gatherings, Mining Protagonists, Scholarships, PERUMIN Hub, Student Leaders, among others.
He is the co-founder of Amautas Mineros, the largest mining volunteer program in Latin America, and of iSE, a start-up with over 100,000 users worldwide that aims to develop mining-related talent. He is also a graduate of the Leadership Program of Enseña Perú.
